As Patrons Club, the Gesellschaft für Moderne Kunst supports the Museum Ludwig in various ways. One of the most important initiatives, especially with regard to international recognition, is the Wolfgang Hahn Prize, which has been awarded on an annual basis since 1994. Initiatives such as ‘Junger Ankauf’ and ‘Perlensucher’ also contribute to the expansion and further development of the museum’s holdings into the future.

In addition, the Gesellschaft für Moderne Kunst supports the museum through the regular patronage of exhibitions, publications and projects in the Museum Ludwig, such as the exhibition series ‘HERE AND NOW’ and the format Kunst:Dialoge. In the spirit of reliable partnership, our activities for the museum are dedicated to the principles of continuity and longevity, which does not exclude short-term and selective support where this is necessary.
